Gavin Calver who is the National Director of Youth for Christ will be our speaker at the February Mix. Having missed the month of January, we are looking forward to being back together at 5pm at Woodlands Church, Belgrave Rd for worship, inspired teaching and a chance for prayer. At 6.30pm there will be after hours. Tuck shop, music and a chance to quiz Gavin, alongside hanging out with other Christians from round the region.

September is a time for new beginnings and the Mix is no exception!
From the new academic year, the Mix team will be unveiling a new-look event. We’ll still be having the same great mix of worship, teaching and prayer, but added to this will be more opportunities to chill out with other Christians from across the area and go even deeper with God.
The Mix will still run on the first Sunday of the month at Woodlands Christian Centre in Clifton, Bristol but at the new time of 5pm – 6:30pm.
Then, you are very welcome to join us for the brand new ‘Mix afterhours’ event which will run from 6:30 onwards in the Woodlands Crypt. This will be a a cafe-style venue which gives you the chance to hang out with friends, have a bite to eat and drink and mull over the Mix / life in general. We’ll have games, music and just-for-fun competitions going on, as well as some live events over the course of the year.
In addition to the main venue, we’re laying on the ‘Going Deeper’ room – a place for you to talk to / quiz the evening’s speaker and carry on exploring what God might be saying to you.

Here comes the sun… and an incredible summer programme from the Mix!
We’re back from the break THIS SUNDAY with YFC’s Phil Knox. It’s easy to “spot a Christian” from the outside – we all know what we’re meant to “do”. But do we ever think about who we are as a Christian? What change on the inside does it make if I say yes to Jesus? Fresh from a busy Easter at Spring Harvest, Phil is coming to speak to us about what it really means to be a Christian.
As always, we’ll be led in worship by our regular Mix band. Doors open at 6:30. For more information on events in June and July please go to our ‘Coming Up’ page.

This spring, we are thinking about World-views and Values. There are lots of voices that tell us where we should be going, how we should be thinking, what we should care most about – friends, parents, magazines, TV, teachers… This term we take some time to put on our ‘God-glasses’ and learn to see the world a little bit differently.
